Who We Are

Laddie's Legacy was founded to honor the life of Laddie,
A beloved pet who story inspired a mission: to provide compassionate financial support for local pets facing medical crises. Today, Laddies Legacy stands as a lifeline for Atlantic County families offering hope, dignity, and relief during some of their most difficult moments.
We believe that pets are family, and families should never be forced to choose between essential care and saying goodbye too soon.
How Laddie's Legacy Helps
Every year, loving pet owners face impossible decisions due to the rising cost of veterinary care. A sudden injury, illness, or emergency procedure can create a financial burden that families are not prepared for, leaving many with no options. Laddie’s Legacy exists to change that.
Veterinary-Referred Support
Laddie’s Legacy works exclusively through veterinary-referred cases. Pet owners cannot apply directly for funding. Local veterinary teams identify qualifying families facing financial hardship, then contact Laddie’s Legacy for potential assistance.
This process ensures:
• Support is provided where it is truly needed
• Funds are used responsibly and effectively
• Veterinary professionals guide medical decisions
By collaborating with trusted local veterinary partners, Laddie’s Legacy maximizes impact and stewards donations with integrity.
Our Stories of Hope
Every act of kindness creates a ripple. Stories like these remind us why this mission matters:

Starla
Starla needed emergency foreign body surgery after ingesting something dangerous, and her family couldn’t afford the full cost. Laddie’s Legacy provided over $1,800 so she could receive life-saving care. Today, Starla is healthy, happy, and back in the arms of the family who loves her.

Bruji
Shortly after giving birth to five puppies, Bruji developed life-threatening eclampsia and needed urgent treatment. Laddie’s Legacy covered nearly $1,000 so she could receive the care that saved her life. Because of this support, Bruji recovered and was able to return home to raise her puppies.

Pedro
Pedro was suffering from painful bladder stones, and his family could only afford part of his treatment. Laddie’s Legacy stepped in to cover the remaining $700, ensuring he got the procedure he needed. Pedro made a full recovery and is now enjoying life comfortably with his family.
